71st Academy Awards – March 21st 1999

I decided to do a event post and when I think Gwyneth on the red carpet, my first thought is Oscars. On March 21st 1999 Gwyneth walked the red carpet of the 71st Academy Awards with her mum and dad. She was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love and of course won. The media scrutinized her for her tears with her acceptance speech and her dress choice. She wore a pink gown by Ralph Lauren and Harry Winston jewels which Bruce bought for Gwyneth after her win. Check out the 38 pictures I’ve added and some red carpet videos after the jump.
